Home to the internationally known Nativity Scene. The Scene was built by German prisoners of War in 1944. Several thousand visitors from all over the world visit the scene each December. The Camp Algona POW Museum is also located in Algona. The museum is designed to remember those American and German servicemen who were connected by World War II at Camp Algona.
